The specialist palliative care team contacted early while I was still in hospital following emergency admission. The contact has remained since my discharge ten days ago, with two further visits today. Easter has just passed with two bank holidays. Just the time when arrangement could go wrong. But everything went like clockwork - meals, carers, out of hours district nurse. I feel I have had "gold service" from my G.P Dr Harrap, from the P.O.W medical and nursing staff at P.O.W Bestgad, and from all the agencies which have integrated so well.
