[name removed] is an excellent counsellor, she helped me find insight into my issues and understand my feelings. I was unsure about having counselling but now feel the benefit of doing so. It was not easy emotionally, but it was definitely worth doing.

Nice friendly service, very acknowledge. i felt totally at ease due to friendly consultant, although nervous prior to arriving due to not having been to a one to one consultancy prior. One item i was confused about though was we booked in my next appointment there and there, but during the weekend i got a message reminding me to book my next appointment, i assume it was a generic email. The only thing i am a little weiry of is there are only 5 or 6 sessions, my mood swings are always up and down, and hopefully all works out.

The therapist was very polite, but sometimes I felt that she wasn’t listening. When I was trying to talk She kept butting in. To be honest I find the forms that I have been sent to fill out rather distressing and difficult for me to fill-in as I am disabled. I find all the stress of filling out the forms actually makes my anxiety worse and stresses me out by

Some of the things on the forms are not applicable for disabled people especially if you can’t get out or socialise easily. Therefore is rather upsetting when the form suggest adding extra activities to your day like going out for a walk or socialising more as unfortunately I am unable to do these things. Also people with disability have extra emotional needs So I feel their needs to be more awareness Of this

The Silver Cloud programme was a little bit confusing to navigate initially but the help and advice I received was excellent

It helped me get out of dark period in my life and give me tools to help work through anxiety and stress now and for the future.

I would have liked to go deeper, pyscologically into why but understand that is for more severe cases.
