I already a silver cloud account so I spent ages updating that . Later found it I had to set up a new account. Then my therapist person was ill and we missed our second call. Then I got an email saying it was cancelled.
Anyway, I’ve done the basics of cbt so many times, I needed some to help with my trauma, and doing a computer based programme wasn’t giving me the emotional support and opportunity to talk .
Basically a waste of time and effort . I’m trying to save money to pay for private therapy.
In the meantime my life is on hold as I’m too depressed to go out .
Suggested improvements
Tailor the patient’s requirements to what they need . And also their existing knowledge. I know what cbt is by now , I don’t need to spend time on that over and over and over again .
CBT doesn’t work for me- give me a treatment plan that works for ME- not “ one size fits all”

When I was admitted I was very sad and the first couple of days more difficult, however given speaking with nursing admin, staff and my daughter things improved greatly and I spent the rest of my admission happy.

I'm sorry, in order to do this I have to reflect on how I was before therapy. This feels negative for me at the moment and not a good idea or a healthy thing to do.
It would be too easy to go back there.
The therapist I was working with, instinctively knew the best way to help me and and I'm extremely grateful to her. Every day I use some of the help she gave me. I particularly value the visual aids which she emailed to me. They are useful reminders of processes for when I may need them.
I also have some recommended reading material to help me on my way.
