While a general improvement over the dishevelled mess I initially saw in 2016, the introduction of a security door you need to be buzzed though (both entering and leaving) the waiting area and reception area is still old and uncared for. While I did have a Community Psychiatric Nurse, they left in order to paint boats, and while they did not explicitly state why they were leaving, the chronic understaffing left me with the impression that the psychological damage of letting so many people down and not being able to offer conistent quality care was their main reason for leaving. I have not been offered a replacement. The staff I have seen, not involved in my care but from the vantage point of the waiting area, seem stressed and broken people. Reception staff are pleasant and polite, however.
