I stayed on Ward W01 day surgery Ward ID 1205 on Thursday 29th August 2013. I had a general anaesthetic for a very personal and, for me, embarrassing procedure. From the moment I walked onto the ward to the moment I left it 11 hours later the care, attention and professionalism of the staff was magnificent. I was cared for by Jane Alexander and Mandy Robinson and could not praise them highly enough. They afforded me the dignity I needed to overcome my embarrassment and looked after me to the degree that I honestly believe that nothing would have been too much trouble for them.
