The hearing test procedure made no sense to me as the person that dealt with me said to "click when you heard the sound" and " click when you think you heard the sound". Lady was lovely but I am questioning the results of the test as I don't think I should be guessing when I heard the sound or not. As there was a lot of time I was unsure I heard it or not I still pressed it and turned out apparently my hearing is normal when I know myself I am struggling so I am looking to redo test at different place as I am not comfortable that was right.
We are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with our Service. Please contact the Hearing and Balance team by calling 0300 365 6222 or email hearingandbalance@berkshire.nhs.uk and we will be happy to arrange another appointment for you to explain our test results in more detail and complete further testing if required. Many thanks.
Better than expected after a dodgy booking system. Everything was on time and staff helpful except the glass screened Reception with surrounding conversations impossible to converse. Resorted to pen and paper notes!
The audiologist understood my needs as I have dementia and explained the process to my carer. She was very prompt in arranging tmy referral for microsuction which needs to be done before she can proceed with the impression to replace my hearing aids .
