Brilliant treatment by very skilled and patient nurse, who was near the end of her shift but refused to go home till everyone was seen a real star ! It was very evident that the department was under pressure with a one hour overrun but I could not fault the treatment ( A re dressing of a failed dressing from an operation the previous day , big toe fusion very painful ) The staff are an inspiration to us all and a credit to the NHS. Big thank you from me.

Suggested improvements
More staff on duty at this very busy department, a lot of very grumpy people left before being seen or didn’t have an appointment and didn’t understand the system. Masks were not compulsory and very few elected to wear them putting staff at risk, I believe they should still be worn. The treatment room was very hot but the staff were anxious to leave fans off for fear of [name removed] so unpleasant for them. I have no idea how receptionist stayed calm under constant moaning and not a little aggression , issue her with a Taser!
