I don't know how the other wards operate but Vaughan Thomas ward is a beacon of light in the NHS mental health services. The staff are simply wonderful and work as a great team. The problem is that there are so few beds that it is almost impossible to be admitted but once you are it is a place of safety and recuperation

I was looked after very well by staff. I would suggest highly that this is a good place for someone that needs help and support with dealing with drug and alcohol problems. This place is not just for people with mental health problems and people need to understand that. I have been fortunate enough to have support and am recovering well. Thank you.
