My son is in the ward I can’t visit due to I’ll health myself so it is very stressful not knowing what is going on I ring the ward but no one answers they need more phones or an answer machine I am going to make a formal complaint that I can never get through on the phone Matron rings me regular which is always very helpful and keeps me informed but this is once a week and I sometimes want to speak to someone at other times, My son rings me every day and seems to be well cared for

I have never felt so alone and desperate for someone to listen. I want to get better and work with the team but they seem to be very stuck on working with me which is NOT the way it should be! However some staff have been very understanding and listened and fought my corner and I really hope that in the near future, things will get better.
