Review of Allen ward
My care is fine, only one problem is my prolapse problem, if there’s shouting or yelling about it effects my abdomen region very painful
Otherwise okay
Keep up the good work you are doing going. I know myself about pressure, I’ve been through the same thing, love u all x
Always willing to help and listen
Religion politic conversations. Specially Palestine war no one should speak about it in here especially not the bold men. Everyone phones should be charged over laptops brought in as waste of power.
The ward staff are very nice, there was good food and I had time off the ward in the lovely grounds
The toilets and showers are a bit grubbyeven though the cleaners try very hard
Ward round every week was often stressful, waiting around then lots of people sometimes
It was easier if Carol was there as she always has a kind word and prepares you before you go in
I thought all the staff were very kind and always had time to talk the young doctor Angus very polite and respectful, one Nurse was grumpy and a bit rude to my family on the phone I told Carol and she rang them to apologise so it was ok I would have liked to meet my care manager before discharge but they were too busy it would be nice if they came to the ward to see patients
...
Staff respectful and empathetic.
Everything, all the staff are kind and amazing at their jobs. For example they know exactly what to say in hard moments with patients. Some other very disruptive patients should maybe be moved to another ward when they upset other people.
