Care given was excellent. Only criticism was extent of treatment did not match the recommended recovery time.
I did not expect to leave with a stiff dressing from groin to ankle. Meant I couldn’t work for at least 48 hours after the procedure. I also felt I needed to keep the stocking longer than the 5 days recommended. I actually left it on for the 7 days after the 2 days in full bandage.
I don’t think you need to further elaborate or explain the actual amount of needle’s required! This would totally put people off! Im not needle phobic but I definitely would have thought twice if I’d known beforehand the extent of injections required, I only had one leg done..
The follow up appointment was excellent. My consultant is by his own words a perfectionist & this totally benefited my further treatment. Nothing was left & nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. Only time will tell how successful it’s been but already I am very happy less than 8 weeks post opp. Would 100% recommend you to anyone who asks. The receptionist was lovely, calm professional & kind.

All staff are very friendly. Procedure was explained fully and well and I was given opportunities to ask questions. Outcome was better than I expected and the fact it’s a fixed price so no surprises is good.
Consultant was friendly, professional and made me feel at ease.

I visited the Cambridge vein clinic end of Jan for a scan on a very large varicose vein that had bothered me for 20 plus years. I decided to go through with the recommended treatment from my surgeon (Mr Nadeem Mughal), I had laser and foam carried out on the one leg. The treatment and service provided by my surgeon and the receptionist (Mrs Dusa Madden) was outstanding.

The surgeon was very approachable and made me feel comfortable about the procedure. He also took pains to explain that it takes some months for the final result to be apparent. He was willing to answer all my queries.
