I was very nervous about having a blood test because a previous bad experience. I told [name removed] I had low blood pressure and I felt very listened to and in safe hands. I felt light headed after I had blood taken and [name removed] raided the staff kitchen to give me something sweet, she gave me water, kept me distracted by asking about my dog and took my blood pressure three times and even asked me to call in before I left. I felt very cared not rushed and ignored as I usually do when I’ve had to be seen elsewhere. I felt like a person not a patient and was so grateful she went out of her way. Thank you [name removed]!

Suggested improvements
When I called the clinic for advice on making my appointment I found the lady on the phone to be very rude and sarcastic. I felt like a nuisance for even asking for help and she was very dismissive. This would put me off calling again but other members of staff and nurses were wonderful!
