I was taken into the University hospital of Wales this morning with severe chest pains. I was initially seen very quickly and informed of all time scales regarding blood tests, scans and x-rays. The staff were very efficient, helpful and professional-they could not be faulted. The doctor who dealt with me was very attentive and I left the hospital feeling very reassured that a I did not have any serious underlying conditions.
Whist in the waiting area the Red Cross staff provided drinks and biscuits to everyone and then in the afternoon patients were again given drinks and sandwiches.
The whole experience was absolutely brilliant
