We as a family have known this hospital for several years. The Surgeon consultant Oncologist, consultant Radiographer and most staff are wonderful. This all falls down with the Senior Management. As a cancer patient the very least I expect is to enter this hospital with dignity NOT being abused by a building operative in a van wishing to pass our car to his clearly very privileged parking place. When my husband complained at the front desk about this behaviour and requested someone from the management team come and speak to him, he was assured the message had been forwarded. Two hours later he asked why no one had the good manners or indeed decency to come and speak to him he was assured the message had been sent. Needless to say fours later when we left, no one had spoke to either of us. This is not the first time this has happened, so forgive this patient who YES pays thousands a year for this finds it intolerable. May I tell the so called management that a truly busy hospital like Royal Berks provided labels for cancer patients and their cars. Clearly the one aim of the BMI and Princess Margaret Hospital is to make as much money as possible, obviously the NHS patients being the cash cow. Private Patients just fit in. Very unhappy dissatisfied patient with their treatment at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Particularly after so long using this hospital.
