I had an accident on a bus in which I was squashed between the closing doors yesterday. I went to Lewisham Hospital today after been in pain all day and night. I saw a Nurse Practitioner who told me that its just muscle pain that I was experiencing. She said if I didn't lose control of my bladder or bowel then it's not serious. I know for a fact that its nerve pain, not because I am walking and haven't lost control of my bodily fluids doesn't mean it's not serious I had double laminectomy surgery in the past, due to compress vertebrae so I know what nerve pain feels like. The NHS told me back then that it was just a bit of arthritis in my spine and they refused to give me an MRI scan for two years, by the time I had surgery I had suffered for three years. I will be seeking private health care.
