The treatment before and at the time of the operation by the BMI The Beaumont Hospital, Bolton was excellent. I do feel that the visits afterwards for treatment of my wound was not as good an experience. The staff expected me to tell them why I was attending for treatment. On my first visit they did not have my notes so used my discharge note for information. On my second visit for the removal of stitches I was asked had I, "...come to have the wound checked...", again the notes were not evident but had obviously not been checked. The actual treatment was adequate.
