I was referred here over 7 months ago but have still not received an appointment. It now transpires that owing to a series of admin errors the clinic "forgot" to apply for funding for me - the Chief Executive has admitted to this in writing to me. Because of their admitted failings there has now been a very long delay in me being seen in the clinic and there is still no date set for my appointment. Despite all this they are refusing to take any action to expedite my referral and remain intransigent. It seems that I am being made to pay the price for mistakes made by the clinic and for their poor management practices. They are very unsympathetic and taking no action to rectify their faults by making up for the lost time. This is a very poor show for what is supposedly a caring institution especially one dealing with those suffering from mental health issues as this kind of thing causes a great dal of extra stress and aggravation.
