You are seen on time and everyone is very friendly and helpful, unfortunately on this occasion I was left very confused and disappointed by the consultant, she suggested it would be a good idea, for my problem, to go into hospital under a general anaesthetic and have a biopsy carried out simply to get the hospital numbers up so as they would get more funding ( her own words) I was left totally bewildered by this, so l left the hospital not knowing what to do and more confused than I was previously.

I really appreciate the convenience of being able to attend the appointment in Stratford. I was consistently updated on the status of the waiting time by the delightful staff. The consultant was clear and extremely helpful. It was absolutely brilliant that I was able to go straight downstairs to have the x-ray done and then directly back to see the consultant. I cannot over emphasise what a difference this made. The radiologist was extremely professional and very friendly too. The member of staff in the Radiology reception area demonstrated an exceptional level of care without knowing that I was watching: she was reading to the child of a patient having an x-ray at the time. She was absolutely wonderful to the little girl and the young mother was visibly appreciative when she came out to collect her. I am grateful that we have access to such a great service - so thank you to you all! The only thing that would have been helpful would have been if I could have had some indication of the likely period of time before I get an appointment date through - although I understand that this is not always possible. I should add that the facility to receive a letter offering an online booking service for this appointment with a choice of three clinics - and then have a choice of dates - was exceptional. I really feel that you have got this right! I very much appreciate it!
