Mr Norton offered me a bhr hip which was done on the 3rd September I stayed in hospital for 2 nights I was a little sore and had a little discomfort but once I got home and started moving more regularly I was better I soon got off the crutches, once I had seen the Phsyo I did a little more at six weeks I was cycling and did the camel trail ( gently ) following week went a bit further 17 miles week nine I did 20 miles on the road with some big hills & heavy rain and feel good . In my case it does exactly what it says on the tin ( well what mr norton said ) The thing is it feels really good & would be easy to over do it so listen. As far as the care before the op very informative letting me know what's happening and after was great to with the staff at st Micheal s hospital. All in all I had put the op off for a while with guidance from mr norton but when I had it done I feel was the right time for me. Now looking forwards to doing more, Thanks all involved
