Review of St Margarets Yeovil - Lymphoedema written by a patient
26th December 2020

I am always frustrated that more cannot be done to cure the lymphoedema. But if there is not one it is not the staff's fault.

Suggested improvements
Nothing. We discussed options. She took great care and interest.

Review of St Margarets Yeovil - Community Team written by a patient

I cannot fault Sandy Evets compassion and care when discussing my pain relief with her. She liaises with my GP so I do not have to do that myself. She keeps in touch too and I feel able to call her any time.

Suggested improvements
N/A.

After 6 years since my loss, I found that I still needed a little guidance which is exactly what I received. Kind, understanding and emotive when it was needed. I feel much more settled in myself thank you.

Review of St Margarets Yeovil - Bereavement Counselling written by a family member

The support I have received from Jackie over the phone after my dad sadly passed away in June has been invaluable. I felt that I could share my feelings openly and honestly without being judged in any way. She was completely 'in tune' with me from the very beginning. It was so comforting to know that my immense feelings of sadness and loss were acknowledged and I was given the space and time I needed to stay in the moment. I have now moved on from being in a dark place to a place where I can gradually start to function again and see a way forward without my dad. Thank you so much to Yeovil Bereavement counselling service. Zoe Judge

Alison (Hodgson) was extremely helpful and made both myself and my wife feel. Very reassured. She could not have done any more to help. She gave me great help and advice and would definitely recommend to others. Alison is a fantastic ambassor and credit to St Margaels hospice thank you for the help.
