After paying privately at this facility to expedite getting bloodwork, scans and diagnostics it has resulted in delaying my mothers care and treatment. She met with the cardiologist who was unprepared for the meeting and had another patients notes in front of him. They could not locate her original notes. He diagnosed her and committed to providing a letter to her GP for her upcoming appointment. He said a copy would be mailed to her. She ne we received the letter, nothing was uploaded to the portal and when she went to her GP appointment - nothing was sent as promised. After making numerous calls which went unanswered and sending email, she stopped by in person as she knew she was supposed to be starting important medication. The person assisting her said the Dr should of provided her a letter. They could not reach him, or his assistant. We have called and emailed everyday since with no resolution abs she is still without her medication. Not only is this frustrating and a terrible experience, but our family and her are left worried for her safety. This facility and the cardiologist was quick to take the consultation fee and fees for the tests but has failed to deliver anything she needs and has failed this patient. We are STILL waiting for resolution

I've been to the spire for 2 surgeries now. The rooms are spacious and clean, nothing fancy but lovely in comparison to a NHS ward! The consultations etc have all been fab. I had a traumatic experience at Sunderland hospital and was quite emotional in a few of my hospital appointments but the staff were soooooo understanding and supportive! I never feel bad bringing my son to appointments too if I can't get any care all the staff are always lovely with him! One even got him a little cupcake on the mcmillan coffee morning last year how sweet is that. My experiences at the spire helped to heal a bit of my trauma, I'm thankful for that.

This life-changing procedure has allowed me to lose an astounding 8st 2lb in just six months, taking me from 23st 2lb to a much healthier and happier 15st.

A superb service and treatment at The Spire Washington. I am sure this may have been a completely different experience for me at a NHS hospital. Fantastic care, spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable. Every single member of staff was delightful and nothing was too much trouble.
