The nurses at spire were excellent. Very approachable and friendly. I felt very safe in their care after my surgery. At the post op appointments the nurse was excellent as well. Would recommend treatment at Spire Manchester.

The Spire Manchester Hospital is so convenient to get to and to park at - and once inside, the receptionists were great at guiding me to where I should be. It’s a clean and comfortable building.

Excellent care received at the Spire Manchester. From clinic appointments to hospital stay and rehabilitation services I found all the staff polite , professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the Spire hospital to family, friends and colleagues.

Dr. Macutkiewicz is a wonderful surgeon, I Can’t thank him enough his understanding, skills and expertise and he listens to my concerns about having my gallbladder remove. He addressed all my concerns and put me at eased. On the day of my operation he came to see me and noticed I was scared and he put my mind at rest. Also the staff at the Spire hospital were great. He came to see me after the operation to see how I was and ensured me that my surgery went smoothly. He came to see me later the day to see how I was getting on before being discharged, I found the care really impressive and kind. I am so glad I chose this hospital and I would highly recommend Dr Macutkiewicz. Thank you so much!

The post surgery daily wound packing sessions with the nurses was good but there was regular debate most days re whether my wound needed packing or not. Some patients might find this uncertainty unsettling but I understood the need for debate on it. It might be my notes could have been more clinically updated to prevent the need for regular/daily discussion on it.
