Outpatients dept. seemed chaotic some nurses appeared to walk about like zombies there seemed to be no order. I had a very long wait and was last to see a young consultant in Mr Mistry's clinic , he was off hand and rushed me through my Prostate Cancer review. He had an unfortunate manner and gave me no grounds for optimism, I left feeling quite depressed. Fortunately we have now moved to another area and I am so glad I will never have to visit Southport Hospital again. I am now back under care of Lancaster Royal infirmary which is the place that I had my original diagnosis.
I am just coming up to 5 years from my Radiotherapy. I guess I'm a survivor.
