I went to the A & E at RSCH on a Monday morning and was seen very quickly (well under an hour) and referred to another department in the hospital. I had to stay in overnight and a bed was found. I had medication and was looked after very well by the doctors and nurses. I was kept informed well at each stage and kept in as long as was necessary and able to leave the next day when doctors were happy it was safe for me to leave. i was seen the next day by a consultant in a follow up. All very smooth, efficient and professional.
