On the 28th October 2019 I was on ward 33 bay 4 bed 4 - my experience of the Royal Shrewsbury hospital was nothing short of perfect could not have been happier.

All the staff that I encountered in clinic 12 of the RSH, were pleasant, attentive and
caring. They were lovely and were able to put me at ease.

I visited A and E on Saturday and was looked after brilliantly. I was given painkillers quickly and didn't have to wait too long to see a practitioner. I think his name was David Jackson? but he was amazing, and got me sorted very quickly. He arranged an xray which was done straight away and the results were also available straight away. I was given advice and crutches and an appointment at the fracture clinic today ( Monday). I was very impressed with everybody working there.

The only incident that I found disturbing was the next morning on the ward when some doctors were doing their rounds. The nurses were trying to place a new mattress on a patients bed and the old one was on the floor, one of the doctors made a scene by losing his temper kicking the mattress and insulting the nurses just because his path was blocked.
