Removal of a large lipoma on my shoulder which was continuing to grow. Initial consultation for pre-operative screen, timely and efficient. All information given. Admission arrangements easy and pre-operative care/theatre staff/post operative staff all efficient and caring. A learning point - advise the patient post-operatively and before sleep, if sleeping pills/pain killers to be given.
Catering staff who visited ward were supportive about missed food (unsure going to be in for lunch) and offered to get sandwiches for me.
Ward so clean.
