I was a patient at this hospital for over 40 years fro 1975 until my funding was stopped by Wandsworth CCG. Despite numerous appeals and a letter to the P.M. I have never been able to get my funding restored. I have Crohns Disease and, if it had not been for this hospital, I would have ended up with an Ileostomy bag and a terrible quality of life. As it is, my loss of funding and being forced to return to an orthodox hospital gastrenterologist - under threats of being prescibed necessary medication - has led to a decline in my health with constant abdominal pain and associated joint problems which were not there before. Being given Infliximab has had no effect whatsoever and the doctors have shown no real interest in what the homoeopaths did for me. I don't know what can be done now that NHS England has managed to get homoeopathic treatments taken off and I believe there is a conspiracy to get rid of it altogether in the UK. Indeed, nothing I have said or done has been acknowledged. Even the length of time I was well due to the combination of homoeopathic and tailored orthodox drugs - both given by the homoeopaths- was ignored when it is clear my case should have been investigated further. Thanks to Wandsworh CCG and its cronies among the local G.P.s my life has been ruined. I don't think we should have given up our wards as it has made it easier to downgrade the hospital and we should have had a far stronger personality running the hospital. Someone who would not give in to the machinations of the UCH Trust. I don't know what can be done at this late stage but I am very very angry as this place was a last resort for patients like myself.

Amazingly supportive in a long term health condition of chronic fatigue. They worked alongside traditional medics and other therapies to offer an holistic service that has impacted my health and life in an extremely positive way. I am both far for mentally, emotionally and physically as well as resilient to the stresses and strains of life. The team is amazing. They have also worked hard to vastly improve their recruiting and appointment service and system.
