The majority of the nursing staff were beyond reproach. Showing both skill and care in their dealings with patients. Only on one occasion did the care I received fall below that which was acceptable. An occasion where I, as the patent, had to insist on the correct procedure being used. The nurse in question lacked adequate training and I refused to co-operate. We, as patients, are in vulnerable enough circumstances without the added stress of having to monitor the actions of those in whose care we are placed and, indeed having to argue with them.
