State of the building is appalling windows taped up with gaffer tape to prevent drafts which didn’t work, went to visit my husband found him with blue lips and hands . Despite repeated requests for a blanket none appeared so I went out and bought one. No communication between staff or relatives no involvement with discharge planning . Total disrespect to patients and their relatives. POCCU was excellent care very variable on other wards I cried with relief one night when I rang to enquire about my husband was and she was kind to me! Surgeons were excellent sad this isn’t followed up by the ward staff afterwards . A really bad experience.
