My partners father was rushed into A & E with a suspected stroke whilst I was a patient. My partner had come to visit me but had to rush off to assist her father, the ward sister allowed her to come back to me quite late that night to keep me informed of the situation as I was told, under no circumstances was I to leave the ward. The staff on the ward not only cared for me but also supported my partner through this difficult time. I want to especially extend my thanks to the trainee nurse who is a valuable asset to your hospital.

The treatment I received was excellent with all staff being very professional, caring with nothing being too much trouble. From the porter who took me to theatre to the theatre staff, surgeon and anaesthetist, I could not complain. The private patient staff took time to chat and put me at ease and they all work as a team to provide the best care possible.

On the day of my op, I was met by a strong team of nurses that instantly I felt at ease with. I then met the anesthesitist and shortly after went down for surgery. All the time I was in hospital, I was really looked after, the nurses couldn’t do enough and really made me feel welcome. They had a great sense of humour, yet were kind and compassionate beyond belief. I’m so grateful for such a fabulous team of nurses.

My first encounter over my diagnosis was very poor but was headed into gastroenterology and the IBD clinic, in which I have to say have been absolutely outstanding. The staff in there are always striving to deal with you in the most effective manner and go out of their way to put you at ease. I have no complaints, only praise.
