The premises was beautiful but the staff attitude could have been better - the first time I was in there one of them, just out of the blue, called me a cow! If I asked for help to do the laundry, a couple of the staff just put my things straight in the tumble dryer. The second time I was there for just a few days, one day they said they enjoyed having me there, the next day a member of staff said to another one without making any attempt to hide it, "She's starting to get on people's nerves" being anxious" and made no attempt to hide it when I asked him about it. Another one made it clear she felt me to be a nuisance any time I knocked on the office door, even though I was always polite to everybody. The rooms were lovely though. My family visiting didn't feel comfortable there as they found it strict and officious and think they are probably more interested in their paying clients. I wasn't allowed out, not even in the garden except with special occasional garden leave escorted and there were no activities. My family said the food looked lovely but I couldn't eat at the time so can't comment. There was a choice of food and you could get up when you wanted.
