Review of Canterbury - Community Services
24th April 2024

Angela was very nice, patient, calming and understanding. She noted all the relevant information and understood dad has a lot of things going on as well as several appointments. She gave us an information pack and referral information for dad's breathing. Thank you. Ruth Grant (Daughter)

Review of Physiotherapy Teams

I felt totally cared for all the time I was there and subsequently when after I had completed my sessions, I was given details of another exercise in Tenterden which I now attend but no match for the Hospice.

Suggested improvements
Made the exercises classes continual or at least more than the six weeks. The catering is very good too and saves me cooking at home.

All staff that have cared for mum have been amazing. They have treated her with respect and dignity. They have also informed her family about the care & how to best support her at this time.

Suggested improvements
There is nothing that could have been done better.

The staff that care for my father are all very helpful, kind and supportive. The carers who came to see him treat him with respect and have a laugh with him, he may be ill but his sense of humour is still there and the carers bring that out in him. its good to see him happy and smile.

Review of Counselling Team

Mary gave me the time and space to talk. She has such a great way of making me think about how I feel and why. It was so good to get my emotions out there.

Suggested improvements
A couple more sessions would’ve been great. 6 sessions of 50 minutes isn’t a lot and grief is so overwhelming. I ended up crying because it had come to an end. I wasn’t ready for that.
