Staff only pretend to care when they get payed... other than that I've had transphobic experiences from staff members and "professionals"

Most of the staff were very friendly helpful, caring and ready too listen. I did have a upsetting incident involving 2 members of staff. I found Lucy Marvellous nothing seemed too much trouble. Very warm and caring lady, very easy to talk to. As was most of the staff. Rash was really caring and I enjoyed doing art with him. A very talented thought full man. I also enjoyed the dvd nights that Jane and other night staff organised. I’m great full to all involved in my recovery.

I'm deeply horrified by a incident that happened whilst being on dale ward at pen hospital. The distress as caused my self to no longer want to share or be involved in any form of talking to staff and anyone else concerned. I was admitted on a section whilst being extremely distressed after I'd been physically emotionally and sexually assaulted over a period of days.. after a incident That happened with in the care of two certain staff members whilst searching my room took it upon there selves to humiliate myself by comments that was made and the lack of respect shown not only to myself but also my property. Bearing in mind I don't have many items as it is . Because I'm unable to have access to my home because of police investigations. One of my mane symptoms since it happened is that during the night I find I'm unable to sleep in my bed I understand it's just my brain and body acting out to how distressing the experience has affected me. But to be ridiculed and laughed at by someone who is suppose to have training and understanding of how mental health can affect how people may behave. I've been that distressed that I've been trying everything to get a transfer to another hospital. I'm now dropping any police complaints and involvement has I now feel that they to are having a laugh at my expense. It certainly wasn't fair or funny iv already have trust issues and now I don't feel as though i can trust anyone. And at the same time what ever a patient does or behave they should always have access to a toilet. It's is such a shame has my time here in all honesty before this incident I was extremely surprised on how nice and pleasant the ward was and the rest of the staff have been so helpful and caring and I did feel I was making progress. And I'd still like too thank the rest of the staff it's such a shame that they did that to me. Because like I said it's stopped me being able too continue to go to staff and open up now.
