I spent nine weeks here following a stroke, and I could scarcely believe it was not a private hospital of the highest standard. Every single person in the hospital is skilled and caring, so it would be unfair to single anyone out. It wasn't always an easy experience. I ended up with DVT in my leg, but it all got sorted out, and the physio ladies pushed me into walking short distances with a frame, when it had been said that I would never walk again. The nurses were absolutely fabulous, and nothing was too much trouble. I felt so strongly that I wrote to the Regional CEO to commend them all. Absolutely superb.
