Clinician listened to me and my concerns
Quick and efficient
My call to 111 was on behalf of my elderly father who required antibiotics sooner rather than later for ongoing health problems. After waiting on hold for an hour, he was assessed and i was advised that someone would call me back as soon as possible, but it could be up to 2 hours. This was at approx 6.15pm.
I requested that it be noted that he requires the antibiotics within the next few hours to stop him needing to be hospitalised, as has been the case in the past. At 1am, i had to call 111 back as I hadn’t heard anything and it was 2am before i heard from the out of hours GP. I appreciate that they are extremely busy, but the health of my father should not suffer due to an 8 hour wait. By the time the gp dealt with the prescription, i had to wait until the morning to collect the much needed antibiotics as there is nowhere local that i can collect from at 2am
All existing conditions but had an asthma issue.
All staff were superb in attitude care and thoroughness with a supportive and clear explanation of treatment and next steps .
Because we received excellent care and it is not acknowledged enough.
Healthcare professional was very clear, responsive to my needs and sorted out medication for me quickly. Listened to concerns greatly and took prompt and appropriate action to support my needs.
A GP did not call! My daughter has scarlet fever and desperately needed antibiotics and we were left!
As above
The support for for my poorly 15 yo. I received a callback about 3 hours after calling 111.
The GP was very helpful
