I called 111 and waited 25 minutes to speak to someone. While waiting I was sent a link by SMS to a web form to complete. After the initial phone call, I was told a clinician would phone me back but it was not possible to say when. Two hours later I received a courtesy call letting me know that there was just a delay. 4 hours later, at approx. 9pm I received a call from a nurse. Not long after that a GP called me. My prescription was ready for collection from my nominated pharmacy the following morning. It was exactly what I needed.

Suggested improvements
Less wait time is the only improvement needed. But my situation wasn't urgent and should really have been dealt with my GP surgery but they had had no appointments available three days in a row.
