The consultation I had with the out of hours doctor at Ormskirk Emergency Out of Hours was very good. The doctor was polite and caring. Made me feel comfortable.

When I rang 111 they said they would send an ambulance as my husbands oxygen levels were 68. We then got a call from a lady at the ambulance service who spoke to my husband and said he didn’t need an ambulance! She did say she would get the out of hours gp to call us. I was very disappointed with this person as when my husband eventually got to hospital he was extremely ill. Next time my husband is ill I will just ring 999. There was no problem with 111 just the lady who rang from the ambulance service.
