I was told the wait would be 2-3 hours and I waited for 4 & 1/2 hours and after which received no help or advice at all. I was obviously not very well but made to feel I was wasting their time. In my opinion the system used in the skelmersdale centre caused people to wait longer than should have been necessary.. a couple of days later I found it necessary to attend the Chorley walk in and found that to be more organised and left with medication and advice regarding my health.
I was very pleased with the care I received, along with the treatment and ongoing advice. The staff were friendly and professional.
I was relieved to see a doctor and not have to go to a&e. I’m due to start chemo in three weeks and was scared of catching infection if I went to A&e.
It was a seamless process with very supportive professionals
Chest infection treated with antibiotics straight away was very happy and as chemists were all closing I got the medication rather than a script.
Found all staff I interacted with were kind professional and caring
Nursing and medical staff brilliant
Receptionist initially told me walk in centre Jo longer accepting patients
I was acutely unwell and needed treatment for tonsillitis septic on the day, could barely drive or stand up
If not seen would have perhaps required AED attendance which is the wrong thing to do under the circumstances currently being overwhelmed

Time taken to contact me was excessive. I wanted antibiotics for the scarlet fever concern. The doctor said no as symptoms had improved. I still wanted to have them as the symptoms do go up and down and to get back in touch takes an excessively long amount of time. I was also irritated to see that the sign on the door says if no answer ring 111. There was a 2 hour wait for 111 at the time. This is useless. I also don’t believe it’s part of what 111 was set up to do. Fcms should be manning their own doors and not leaving people stuck outside. This appointment was for a child and I don’t believe the idea of an ill child waiting outside to get in is optimal. An easy fix would be to man the door. I waited about 10 minutes in the rain to get in. It’s very difficult to be happy with the service. I felt dismissed and the circumstances of the strikes and the strep a outbreak wasn’t factored in appropriately with the way my child was cared for.
Sorry I don’t understand what the question means
