Answers relevant to my son, who was the patient. I called at 7pm and 9pm, waited up until midnight in case someone called me and was contacted at 6am

More clarity about when we could expect to be contacted would have helped in managing my sons expectations and care of siblings

Looked for advice on 111 website and requested call back.
GP returned call quickly and was given a FTF appointment.
Visited out of hours service, waited a short time to be seen.
Dr was empathetic and listened to my explanation of the reason for my appt.
Gave me suitable treatment and suggested future treatment through my own GP to assist with the re occurring problem

Initial call was good
Waited plus 3 hrs for callback (understand busy)
Dr who called back poor language skills, had not read notes, knew nothing about call.
Rude and abrupt.
Said could not hear me, everyone else who'd called my phone that day could hear me.
She tried two more times.
Then did not heat back
So rang an ambulance.
