thank you for the care you provided me during my scan

The nursing staff were great & I had every confidence in the consultant. I would have liked a room of my own as a private patient but understood others needed it more.
- Car parking is a nightmare!!

I was treated with care and respect by all members of the department
- I was left waiting for much longer than I was told I would be, after a delay was explained to me due to the scanning machine not working. The receptionist noticed and went to find out why I still had not been seen at least an hour and 30 minutes after the supposed 40 minute delay. I understand that delays are possible but a realistic time-frame to begin with or an update after the time had elapsed would have been better than no information at all.

Overall my opinion of the service provided was excellent in all areas

- Disappointed in the waste of resource and apparent lack of co-ordination. I had my weight measure three times in four hours and height measured twice during the same period, also had to queue twice for blood tests as the initial ones didn't cover all those required.

Once my scan results were known Mr Catton made me feel very confident that he could perform surgery to help me. All staff members at City Hospital were fabulous The only negative I have was the ward and the side room I was in was far from clean.
