I had a trapped nerve in my neck (uncomfortable pain for approx. 6 days) I could not get an appointment at my Dr's. My Surgery suggested I go to the walk in Clinic at Crawley Hospital. On arrival I was informed that I would have a four and half wait. I waited for approx. an hour and was called in to see a nurse who assessed me. She informed me that I would have to wait the stated time of four and half hours. was was in so much discomfort that I said I had to go home where I could lay down she said she would discharge me and perhaps I should try 111. I did not realise just how bad things have become with the NHS both in Dr's Surgeries and attending a Hospital!
