Went to walk in centre after having tripped on some steps, I did try my doctors first but had no appointments, on arrival I gave my details to reception, I was told the wait to see a triage nurse was 1hr 30 mins and 3 hrs to see a doctor, Crawley hospital is undergoing building works so a bit manic, but I was seen by a nurse within 45 mins, she was very nice, asked me some medical details and history and how I got my injury to my nose! On this occasion she was able to clean my small cut on my nose, put some strips on my to help it heel properly, took my blood pressure and temperature. I was very impressed, very professional and explained exactly what she was going to do and with my aftercare. All the staff were very busy helping patients, and when an emergency came in via an ambulance, the nurse came out and apologised for the long wait as this was due to an emergency coming in, so was kept informed at all times, some patients did not wait due to the time they had to wait to see a doctor! Staff did what they could to help. Great service!
