Most of the staff including cleaners just randomly open your door with no notice, making for an uncomfortable stay. When night checks are carried out, the doors are left ajar so any old stranger including fellow (possibly disturbed) patients of both sexes can see you sleeping inside. doors cannot be locked. I also opened my door to a drunk family member who I didn't wish to see, as the nurses had invited them to my room without consulting me. This complete lack of privacy and respect is not conducive to an environment in which one feels better.
