Was seen quickly and dealt with fast however upon arrival was spoken to rudely by a woman at the desk. Before arriving I had been on the phone to 111 who had then referred me to montagu. So when I arrived I explained that 111 had sent a referral for me as that’s what I was told by them on the phone. However after I had said this, I was very rudely and loudly told “well we do not deal with referrals so you haven’t been referred”. A simple you just need to sign in would’ve been better. After this interaction I spoke to Bev who signed me in and she was absolutely brilliant.

Suggested improvements
Have someone at the desk all the time. She may have just popped to get something but no one was around when arriving at the hospital so had to ring the bell (which is fine) but then led me to have a rude interaction.
