Speaking from a professional standpoint - I was treated terribly as an employee of this hospital - in particular within MH. My confidence was significantly altered after my time here, I highly discourage anyone who is not local to the area from thinking of applying for any positions.
The clannish mentality is awful - unless you enjoy a challenge that is!
I have never experienced such a poor working environment in my whole NHS career - staff morale rock bottom, compassionate care of staff - zero, and absolutely no professional development opportunities.
Please think carefully, your wellbeing is more important than a job.
