Review of Bereavement Group written by a patient
29th November 2017

A well structured six weeks course. Group engaged to talk about bereavement circumstances and in particular the loss of a loved one. Encouraged to find safe haven did not work for me as too soon after bereavement. Counsellor and trained volunteers showed much empathy. Art/craft exercises and bubble exercises helped enormously. Really looked forward to meetings.

Review of Heart Failure Group written by a patient
28th October 2017

The heart failure group gave support whenever needed. The group worked well together and made me feel relaxed and calm for the rest of the day. I particularly enjoyed the art therapy.

Review of Bereavement Group written by a patient
28th October 2017

1. Talking openly about my immense grief over the loss of my husband has been more than comforting and helpful. 2. The kindness and understanding of the counselors have made me stronger and more positive, giving me hope for the future. 3. In sharing grief with the others in the group, made me realize that I'm not alone in my grief. The creative activities were very meaningful and well presented in a lovely calm way. I could not have hoped for more support and help.

Review of Complementary Therapy Outpatients written by a patient
28th October 2017

Absolutely amazing. Alison was very helpful with physio advice and certainly helped with my neck problems as a result of my cancer treatment. Linda Lewis has been absolutely incredible. She has magic fingers and was able to perform amazing feats upon my neck and feet. I cannot thank you all at Longfield enough for making such a difference.

I was free to talk as I worked to nobody else, Laura was exceptional in her politeness, understanding and in helping me over several handles. It has been a most beneficial experience. Thank you especially to Laura.
