The counselors I saw fully understood my problems and helped me to understand my thoughts and how mind/emotions work. The service was easily accessible and I didn't know what to do next. I feel I am now in a much better place and cannot thank you enough.

My husband died in Trinity on 2 August. The care and kindness with which he was treated was exceptional. Not only was he the recipient of great compassion, his family and myself were also shown great understanding. Today, 16 December, I spent once at home with Netta from here about support. I left feeling as if I had shed a great weight - I could just be my emotional self. Thank you Netta. My association with trinity feels like membership of warm and loving family. Thank you all.

I can't suggest improvements. Bevis approach to counselling helped me address many suppressed issues - I feel like a different person.

Kevin was kind, thoughtful, never judgmental and a great listener. I was nervous about having counselling but he pit me at ease from the start. I could talk about my sadness and never felt under pressure at any time.

The approach and ambience in the room was very warm and supportive. This was an assessment meeting. In any future consultation I hope that the counsellor will take a slightly less passive role, and will be able to offer advice, insight and coping strategies to deal with the challenges I face both caring for, and coping into the imminent death of my mother.

I felt relaxed and able to explain about how I am feeling and what problems I am having without embarrassment. I came away from the meeting feeling there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you.

My counselor. (Maralyn) put me at ease, from the moment that I met her. I was able to open up to her, in a way that when I left. I felt some weight had been lifted and able to focus a little better, thanks for what you achieve. The Linden Center is to be recommended.
