The approach and ambience in the room was very warm and supportive. This was an assessment meeting.
In any future consultation I hope that the counsellor will take a slightly less passive role, and will be able to offer advice, insight and coping strategies to deal with the challenges I face both caring for, and coping into the imminent death of my mother.

I felt relaxed and able to explain about how I am feeling and what problems I am having without embarrassment.
I came away from the meeting feeling there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

My counselor. (Maralyn) put me at ease, from the moment that I met her. I was able to open up to her, in a way that when I left. I felt some weight had been lifted and able to focus a little better, thanks for what you achieve.
The Linden Center is to be recommended.

Speed of appointment and course of counseling.
Understanding.
Listening.
Not referring to self experience. Felt safe and open to talk.
Never rushed to finish app.
Improve.
More understanding on the 'test' and what the results mean (apart from getting better when lower).
