I was asked if I wanted pain medication, I said yes. I was left for hours without and had to request it myself. I then waited around another 45 minutes to be given paracetamol. When asked my pain was at 9 and I was ignored.

I waited in UTC for 3 hours and when going to a&e had to wait a further 6 hours. Having to start again when already waiting in pain in uncomfortable chairs is not the greatest.

There was excellent care given by everyone. A nice mix of various cultures made it easier to communicate at times. The consultant was very good also and helped keep me calm. Jas

Dinner ordered the firat day went missing after a late surgery. Another evening was sent a meat lasagne dinner when vegetarian was ordered and was given a cheese sandwich instead so appreciate its busy and mistakes happen so not a complaint as such.

The attitude of the doctors and nursing staff was really good, they listened to me carefully and done their level best to treat me. I am thankful, I must say KGH has improved a lot in that sense. I hope they keep the same level in future.

It’s just the waiting time in A&E if somehow be reduced it would be great.

I waited more than 10 hours to hear from a sleepy doctor (kept yawning in my face when I was telling her my issues after 9hours or more waiting) that she doesn’t know the reason I felt in that way and what is wrong with me!!

Everything! People go hospital because they need help and they get treated so poorly. I had a 2 years old waiting for me at home for more than 12hours FOR NOTHING! I felt like no one there takes it seriously enough.

The staff, although under pressure were kind and worked as quickly as they could to deal with those waiting in A & E. I had to wait several hours for the results of tests, but the atmosphere was calm and quiet. I really appreciated the lovely hot cup of tea. A big thank you to the kind member of staff dispensing drinks from the trolley!

It would have been great to have somewhere to lay down but I realise there was just nowhere available.
