I have spent 10 years not being cared for not being listened too and being left feeling alone with my diabetes, this is the first time I have ever been treated with dignity, I am thankful for [name removed] I think she will change my world under her care

As a rule the NHS service in Berkshire is really rather poor but on this occasion I was actually pleased

The nurse [name removed] listened to my problems, asked appropriate questions and discussed options, giving clear explanations and easy to follow advice. Treated us with the utmost respect. I felt very confident in her ability to assess my needs and in her knowledge. I left in a lifted and confident mood.

All staff from different sectors of the hospital were very friendly and keen to help. The hospital was very clean. I would recommend King Edward’s to my friends.

The two doctors who saw me treated me wi the respect and kindness. They listened carefully to my symptoms clarifying with me and checking they understood my symptoms properly to do all the right tests. They made me feel very comfortable.

It might be helpful to put an expected time the appointment could take. Mine was a lot longer than I realised, which was helpful but would have been good to know.
